Consciously Selected Miracles

For those that study A Course in Miracles, a major theme of the tome is that you cannot consciously select your miracle. What does this even mean? It means that the ego-mind does not know what you need.

Let me give you an example. Say you suffer from panic attacks. You absolutely hate these. You are terrified of the next one. You live in fear of them. You avoid places in case you are triggered. And when you pray to God or see your therapist you hear yourself saying, "If only I didn't suffer from panic attacks, then life would be good!" In your mind you believe the panic attacks are the cause of your misery. Yet, in truth, the panic attacks are the effects of something buried deep within you that is yet to be truly healed. 

Your problem is never without, it is within, deep within!

So, what is the cause of the panic attacks? Well, I have given you a few clues above. The cause of this shadow would perhaps be hatred, terror, fear, or avoidance, etc. These shadows all stem from the hidden guilt of sin that you have separated from God, Source, Perfect Love. Notice the words that you utilize to describe your journey through panic attacks and it is this you are being asked to truly heal. If you do not suffer with panic attacks but something else, apply this same line of thinking to whatever your concern is.

How do you truly heal?

You see, that which is Perfect Love cannot be sick or suffer. The panic attacks are showing you that hidden within you have these shadows of separation that conceal the goodness of grace that is your truth as the being of Perfect Love. Undo the darkness within to find the truth of light and miraculously the panic attacks will begin to correct.

You must learn to 'forgive within' to undo the darkness that covers your light, Perfect Love. Whatever it is you are suffering through is what you are being asked to truly forgive to free. The Treasure Map is no ordinary forgiveness. It is the way God has taught me to forgive within, to place your idols of separation aside to know the truth of Oneness that offers the happy dream in time. 

Undo the effects to forgive at the cause and miracles will be made.

The hidden guilt within is what causes every suffering in time that you move through. It is time to stop judging the lessons and instead to undo the darkness to reclaim the truth of light that will heal every sickness the belief in sin and separation has made.

This is why you cannot consciously select your miracle, as the ego (consciousness) is the effect, it is not the cause.
