'Oaty' Breakfast
Oct 13, 2020Whilst I am not a nutritionist, and I have struggled with food issues in the past, what I came to realize was the more I cleaned the mess from my mind, with Truforgiveness, the better the decisions I made.
This includes those food choices!
It is true, it is the hidden guilt within that seeks the ways of suffering. So, when you learn how to let it go, with The Treasure Map, you start to make healthy decisions for yourself. And one of these for me has been to learn how to love oats.
If you are looking for a beautiful, natural breakfast that is filling and satisfying, then refrigerate your oats overnight, by soaking them in goodness. I first learned to do this almost twenty years ago now, by a herbalist when I was moving through chronic fatigue syndrome. I often mixed the oats with nut milk and some raisins or sultanas. You can play around with what you put in it, but I recently picked up a delicious ingredient list.
Ingredients:
- Milk (I used nut milk)
- 1/3 cup oats
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla protein
- Frozen fruit/raisins/sultanas (whatever you prefer)
- 1 tbsp shredded coconut
- 1 tsp chia seeds
Mix ingredients and leave in an airtight container in the fridge overnight. I love this morning breakfast.
Happy eating.
Much love, peace, and Truforgiveness,
